Ryedale District Council holds virtual landlords' forum
Ryedale District Council is holding a virtual landlords’ forum to support landlords to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
Normally, the District Council works in partnership with the National Landlords Association to hold an annual event in the Council chambers.
This year, a free online event is being held on 29 April at 4pm to give landlords an opportunity to watch a series of presentations on a range of topics that can help them deal with the issues COVID-19 has brought to the industry.
The externals speakers this year are from Daikin and Communitas. They’ll be sharing information about renewables and funding sources available for landlords. Attendees will also hear about the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) update regarding legislation, EU settlement and the new landlords’ newsletter.
Phillip Spurr, Programme Director for Economic Development, Business and Partnerships for Ryedale District Council said:
"COVID-19 has had an impact on many industries within Ryedale and it’s vital that we do what we can to support our businesses. Our priority is to support lives and livelihoods.
“We are pleased to offer this popular event online this year, for the benefit of our landlords in Ryedale. The varied range of topics and speakers covered will provide much-needed support.”
